i suddenly wonder why there is a word 'pink'. I mean, basically it's just light red, right? Why doesn't light blue, light green or light orange have the same privilege and get their own 'names'?
Anyway, it's 1 AM here and my brain has begun to... generate questions like this. I guess I'll just have to hit the sack now. Nighty night.

But I guess it's the fact that it's actually a subcategory of red, carnation pink and hot pink falling under it. Kinda like how 'azure' is actually a sub-color of blue, along with sapphire (:
